Swonderful Cafe—A Backstory
Julie Chambers, owner, and founder of Chambers Music Studio, recognized a need for nibbles and chill space within the musical community she created.
She noticed that during lessons, parents and siblings were confined to their cars, snacking on whatever mom or dad had packed, and usually glued to their tech. From there, an idea was born—why not create a cozy space for families in the studio instead?
Julie created the Swonderful Times Cafe as a way to meet the needs of busy families while also creating a space that fosters community within the music world of the greater Columbus area.
Before she knew it, Swonderful Times Cafe became a bustling hub for budding musicians and their families—and she wouldn’t have it any other way!

Life is a whirlwind of activities, especially with kids in the equation. We created Swonderful Times Cafe as a breather spot—a place to pause the play button on life’s fast-forward.
The Swonderful Times Cafe was created with our students and their families in mind. We know how hectic it can be to pick up the kids from school and zoom off to the next practice, lesson, or adventure you signed your child up for.
We hope to banish the rushed string cheese and applesauce snack/dinner that gets quickly devoured in the back of the car. Now you can slow down, relax, and trust that your after-school snack or dinner plans are covered.
