Extraordinary Music Classes for Kids and Adults
Serving families across the greater Columbus, Ohio area including
Bexley, Worthington, and Westerville
A structured, community-driven pathway for lifelong musicians
From first musical steps to confident, expressive musicianship, all taught by a collaborative team that grows with you.
Are You Looking for More Than a Weekly Lesson?
You may have tried online tutorials, school programs, or even switched teachers, yet something still hasn’t clicked. At Chambers Music Studio, we work with families who want music lessons to be joyful and meaningful, structured and human.
If you’re seeking a place where progress is intentional, teachers collaborate, and students grow over years (not weeks), you’re in the right place. Because of this, our studio runs on a tuition model similar to a school, choir, or dance company. Families don’t pay per visit — they enroll in a consistent weekly time that allows real progress to happen.
Music Education Built on a Collaborative Teaching Team
Most studios match you with one teacher and hope everything lines up forever. At Chambers Music Studio, your growth is supported by a collaborative teaching team, shared curriculum, and intentional training.
Our educators plan together, communicate consistently, and step in seamlessly when needed — so learning never stalls. This means your progress doesn’t depend on one person’s availability. Your enrollment is in the Chambers Music Studio program, not tied to only one teacher, which allows learning to continue smoothly even when schedules or instructors change. It’s supported by an entire community invested in your success.
My Family and I have been with Chambers for a few years and have had a great experience with everybody at the studio. The teachers we have had are resourceful and professional.” —Scott Stedman
Our Thoughtfully Designed Musical Pathway
Every program at Chambers Music Studio is part of a larger educational journey, not a standalone class.

Early Childhood Foundations
Early Musical Foundations
Core Skill Building
Mommy & Me (0-3)
Music-filled moments that strengthen speech, coordination, focus, and the special bond between you and your child — all while planting the seeds for lifelong musical growth.
Jam Band (4-6)
An active, music-filled experience where children build rhythm, listening, coordination, and confidence through singing, movement, and real instruments — the ideal foundation before piano, guitar, voice, drum, or band lessons.
Piano Keys (6+)
A dynamic piano program where students build reading, rhythm, technique, and musical fluency in a way that feels like play but creates lasting skill.
Private Instruction & Mentorship
Once students have built strong foundations, they move into personalized study where technique, expression, and musical artistry are developed through thoughtful one-on-one guidance.
Piano Lessons
Students begin their piano journey in our Piano Keys program, where they build the musical foundations equivalent to years of traditional lessons in a highly engaging group setting. Once ready, they transition into private piano study to deepen technique, expression, and artistry.
Voice Lessons
Music-filled moments that strengthen speech, coordination, focus, and the special bond between you and your child — all while planting the seeds for lifelong musical growth.
Guitar Lessons
Build coordination, rhythm, and musical style as you learn chords, strumming patterns, and songs that make practice feel rewarding.
Drum & Percussion Lessons
Strengthen rhythm, coordination, and timing through hands-on playing that builds steady beat and confident ensemble skills.
Strings Lessons
Develop beautiful tone, focused listening, and precise technique while learning to play with confidence and expression. We offer lessons for Violin, Viola, Cello, and more.
Woodwind & Brass Lessons
Learn breath control, finger coordination, and strong tone production while building the skills needed for band and ensemble playing.
Flexible Learning Options
Online Music Lessons
Stay consistent from anywhere with engaging lessons that support steady progress from home
— perfect for illness, travel, or weather days when you can’t be in the studio.
Ensembles
A select opportunity for students who have built strong foundations to make music with others.
These collaborative groups meet in addition to private lessons and develop listening, teamwork, and real ensemble musicianship.
“My daughter has taken piano lessons for 6 years with Chambers. The teachers are amazing, and the staff are so kind and responsive. They are flexible, allowing us to Zoom when needed. Now my son is taking the clarinet there. So many instruments available.” —Gretchen Riley
Meet Julie Chambers, Founder of Chambers Music Studio
Hi, I’m Julie. I opened Chambers Music Studio because I believe music changes lives and communities. After years of teaching from my home, I saw how isolated traditional lessons could feel for families. I wanted to create something better: a place where students could belong, grow, and stay for years.
Today, Chambers is a thriving musical community across Columbus, Bexley, and Worthington. Our studio began with piano and voice and has expanded into a full pathway of instruments. Whether you dream of flute and ukulele, saxophone and clarinet, or piano and voice, you’ll find a home here.
Every student deserves a studio that believes in them, supports them, and celebrates them at every stage of their musical life.
I didn’t want Chambers to be a place families outgrew or cycled through. I wanted a studio that could support students for years, through changing schedules, growing goals, and real life, without sacrificing quality or connection.

Swonderful Cafe
Welcome to Swonderful Times Café, located inside Chambers Music Studio in Bexley. When Julie taught lessons from her home, she noticed something: families were isolated. Kids practiced alone. Parents waited in cars. Nobody connected.
She wanted something better. Swonderful Times Café is an extension of our belief that music education thrives in community, consistency, and connection — not isolation.
Swonderful Café gives families a place to meet, rest, study, and build community with healthy food options designed for busy households. Now, music lessons feel less like an errand and more like an experience. Grab a coffee, a cookie bar or a cinnamon roll, and enjoy a moment of calm while your student learns.
Families often tell us they love that Chambers doesn’t feel like another activity to juggle. Because we operate like a school with tuition, your lesson time is always there for you. When conflicts come up, we simply reschedule — so music stays a steady, reliable part of life.
