Olivia B. Roberts, (She/Her) is a Capital University class of ‘24 student pursuing a B.M Vocal Music Education degree. A graduate of Firestone High School, Olivia studied private voice and participated in the Akron School for the Arts program. In high school, Olivia performed on the Carnegie Hall stage with various other collegiate and high school choirs. Olivia performs in the Chapel Choir at Capital University and private voice lessons and recently traveled with the Chapel Choir giving concerts in regions of Spain such as La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, San Sebastian, Gijon, Santiago de Compostela, and Madrid.

Outside of school, Olivia loves playing video games, spending time with her friend’s cat Archie, going on runs, watching Disney and Marvel movies, and making chocolate chip cookies! Olivia’s favorite superhero is Doctor Strange and her favorite Disney character is the reindeer, Sven, from Frozen. As a teacher, Olivia is positive, comforting, a great listener, FUN, open-minded, and adaptable. Olivia loves all kinds of music including musical theatre, classical music, and even movie musicals. Olivia teaches in a student-centered learning environment so students can explore their voices, get excited about music and learning, and try all different kinds of sounds! Learning music should be fun and led by curiosity and exploration.

Olivia will graduate from Capital in the spring of 2024 with Magna Cum Laude honors, with hopes to be employed as an elementary music educator and teach private voice lessons. She will continue to pursue a master’s degree in Music, as well as eventually receiving her D.M.A.

Columbus singing lessons

Kevin is a well-versed multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. He has performed all of his life, and his experience ranges from rock bands to orchestras, jazz combos to musical theater, and even as a stage and screen actor. He has been featured on public and national television and toured nationally. He holds performance degrees in classical trumpet and voice, and currently serves in the 249th Army Band where he plays bass, guitar, trumpet, and sings for various ensembles. As a teacher, he has taught private lessons for over 15 years. He comes from a family of artists and educators, and has a passion for teaching anyone who wants to learn. At Chambers, he’ll be offering guitar, voice, electric and upright bass, trumpet, beginner piano, ukulele and banjo. His students will not only learn their chosen instrument, but also the fundamentals of theory, developing their ear, performance concepts, and specific things the student wants to learn. He strongly believes in an individualized approach to education, and will meet every student where they are at and work to teach them in the way that they learn best. 

Bexley Singing Lessons

Shiloh has been in love with music since her first violin lesson at age 8. She is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, where she double-majored in music education and violin performance. She is certified to teach K-12 music in the state of Ohio and was an elementary music educator before coming to Chambers. This is where she developed her love of working with beginning singers. Shiloh is passionate about many different genres of music and enjoys teaching strings, beginning voice, and piano. Shiloh’s goal is for every student to feel confident in their own unique musicianship. She is an energetic, caring teacher who lets each student’s interests and goals guide their instruction. In addition to music, Shiloh loves baking, crafting, and exploring new places with her husband Zach and golden retriever Zeus.
