Programs — Structured Pathway
Mommy & Me Classes (Ages 0–3)
Joyful early childhood music experiences that promote bonding, rhythm, language, and emotional development through singing, movement, and play. These small-group sessions are designed to nurture curiosity and parent-child connection.
Jam Band (Ages 4–5)
Jam Band is a fun and engaging group music class designed especially for young musicians. Through singing, movement, rhythm activities, percussion instruments, and ensemble playing, students develop important musical skills while building confidence and creativity. Students learn foundational concepts such as steady beat, rhythm, pitch, listening, and teamwork in a joyful, supportive environment. Jam Band helps children develop a love of music while preparing them for future success in Piano Keys, private lessons, and other musical opportunities. No previous musical experience is required.
Piano Keys (Ages 6+)
Piano Keys is our innovative group piano program that combines individualized instruction with the excitement and encouragement of learning alongside other students. Each student progresses at their own pace while developing piano skills, music reading, rhythm, technique, ear training, theory, creativity, and performance confidence. Teachers provide personalized guidance while students benefit from the motivation and community of a group setting. Whether a student is brand new to music or continuing their musical journey, Piano Keys provides a fun, structured, and supportive environment that helps students build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of music. No previous piano experience is required for most beginning levels.
Private Lesson Length Recommendations
At Chambers Music Studio, we believe in providing our students with the time and space necessary to fully explore and develop their musical abilities. Longer lessons allow for more in-depth instruction, focused practice, and the opportunity to tackle complex concepts with greater clarity. By investing in extended sessions, students are better equipped to build a deeper connection with their instrument, improve their skills at a faster rate, and experience a more rewarding and comprehensive music education. Whether preparing for a performance, exploring advanced techniques, or simply deepening their musical understanding, longer lessons are designed to enhance the overall learning experience and support our commitment to fostering each students growth.
● Singing: Ages 9–12: 45 minutes / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
● Woodwinds: Ages 9–12: 45 minutes / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
● Brass: Ages 9–12: 45 minutes / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
● Strings: Ages 9–12: 45 minutes / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
● Piano: Ages 9–12: private piano lessons after completing Piano Keys / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
● Drums: Ages 9–12: 45 minutes / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
● Guitar: Ages 9–12: 45 minutes / Ages 13+: 60 minutes
Why Longer Lessons?
We have found that longer sessions provide additional time to dive deeper into technique, explore
advanced concepts, and develop a stronger connection to the music. Extended lessons offer a more
comprehensive experience for students who are ready to tackle more complex challenges.

Tuition, Billing & Membership Plans
Thank you for supporting our small, woman-owned business and ensuring our dedicated teachers have consistent hours and income to provide the best possible instruction. We appreciate your understanding and timely payment.
Monthly tuition is conveniently billed on the 1st of each month based on your chosen lesson length and frequency, with adjustments for any studio closures. To make things easier, payments are processed using the card on file. We understand that life can get busy, and sometimes payments may be delayed. To help us continue providing a high-quality experience for all our students, a $20 late fee will apply to payments more than 10 days past due. Additional fees may apply for materials or special events. Please note that tuition is non-refundable.
If a payment on file is declined, we will attempt to notify you and reprocess the payment. If a balance remains unresolved for more than 10 days, scheduling privileges may be paused until the account is brought current. For a current list of studio closures reflected in your monthly billing adjustments, please refer to the studio calendar available through the Student Portal or on our website.

Enrollment, Trial Period & Withdrawal Policy
30-Day Trial Period
We want every family to feel confident that Chambers Music Studio is the right fit. All new enrollments begin with a 30-day trial period. During the first 30 days, you may withdraw from lessons or classes at any time and receive a refund for any unused lessons remaining in your trial period. Registration fees, materials, and services already provided are non-refundable. After the 30-day trial period, enrollment continues according to your selected membership plan and is subject to the studio standard withdrawal policies.
Ongoing Enrollment & Withdrawal
Because we reserve a dedicated space in our schedule and commit staffing based on enrollment, all withdrawals require written notice to our admin team, and tuition remains due during the notice period so that teachers and staff can continue to be paid.
● Basic Plan: A minimum of 30 days written notice is required to withdraw. Students are encouraged to continue attending lessons during the notice period.
● VIP Plan and VIP Plus Plan: These are annual commitments running August through July. Families may choose not to renew by providing written notice by July 1. Automatic renewal applies if no notice is given.
● Mid-year withdrawal from a VIP or VIP Plus annual commitment (for example, due to relocation or a medical circumstance) is handled on a case-by-case basis — please contact our Client Relations team to discuss your situation.
Weve found that the most meaningful progress in music comes from steady, ongoing study. While we no longer offer lesson holds, we are happy to work with you to reschedule or explore temporary online options when necessary.
Cancellations and Makeup Lessons
To maintain consistent and quality progress:
● Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice are automatically converted into makeup lessons.
● Cancellations due to teacher illness are also converted to makeup lessons. Makeup lessons are used in tandem with regular lessons to continue educational growth. They cannot be used in place of tuition.
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
Makeup tokens are redeemable within 90 days of the missed lesson and expire at the time of withdrawal.
Summer Camps & Intensives
Chambers Music Studios Summer Music Intensives and Camps are designed to provide a high-quality blend of music education, creativity, and fun. Students enjoy hands-on music-making, movement, storytelling, and collaborative activities led by experienced music educators. Enrollment is intentionally limited to ensure a supportive learning environment where every child receives individualized attention. Each camp or intensive culminates in a final performance or sharing experience that celebrates student growth, confidence, and achievement.
We recognize that enrolling in a summer music intensive or camp is both a time and financial commitment. We aim to honor the needs of families while ensuring our summer programming runs smoothly for all participants. Please review the cancellation and transfer policies below.
Studio-Initiated Cancellation
If Chambers Music Studio must cancel a summer music intensive or camp due to unforeseen circumstances (including emergencies, low enrollment, or financial constraints), families who have paid tuition for that session will receive a full refund for that week of camp.
Family-Initiated Withdrawal
If a student withdraws after registering, refunds are issued as follows:
● More than 30 days notice before the start of the camp: Full refund.
● Less than 30 days before the camp start date: No refund will be issued.
Transfers to a Different Summer Program Week
We understand that summer plans can change. When space allows, families may transfer to another summer program week, provided the transfer request is received at least 14 days before the original camp start date and there is available space in the desired camp week. If the transfer request is made fewer than 14 days before the start date, the standard withdrawal policy applies. Transfers are not guaranteed, as camp capacity is limited.
Performances & Educational Events
Participating in a performance enhances growth in private lessons by providing focused goals and feedback application, while also fostering personal growth through increased confidence, public speaking skills, and resilience. There are performance opportunities throughout the year. All students are encouraged to perform in two or more of our recitals each year.
Jam Band Graduation
Jam Band Graduation is a special celebration honoring students who have completed the Jam Band program and are ready to take the next step in their musical journey. During this joyful event, students share what they have learned, celebrate their accomplishments, and are recognized for their growth, confidence, and musical development.
Families are invited to celebrate this exciting milestone as students transition into Piano Keys and continue their musical adventure.
Music Showcase
The Music Showcase is a performance event created especially for our adult students. This relaxed and encouraging gathering provides an opportunity to share music, celebrate progress, and connect with fellow musicians in a supportive community.
Whether performing for the first time or returning to the stage after many years, students are encouraged to participate at their own comfort level and enjoy the experience of making music with others.
Life at Chambers Festival
The Life at Chambers Festival is one of the highlights of the year at Chambers Music Studio. This special event celebrates the dedication, growth, and achievements of our students through performances in a beautiful and welcoming setting.
Families, friends, and community members come together to enjoy student performances, refreshments, professional photos, and memorable moments that showcase the joy of music and the spirit of the Chambers community.
More than a recital, the Life at Chambers Festival is a celebration of creativity, confidence, connection, and the lifelong impact of music education.
Performance Month
Performance Month helps students prepare for successful and confident performances. During the weeks leading up to the Life at Chambers Festival, students spend time practicing performance skills, stage presence, and musical presentation during their lessons and classes.
Parents may be invited to observe portions of lessons as students gain experience sharing their music and celebrating their progress. Performance Month is designed to build confidence and help every student feel prepared for their upcoming performance opportunities.
Landmark Achievement
Landmark Achievement is our music assessment and recognition event designed to celebrate student growth and musical excellence.
Students perform for a professional evaluator and receive personalized feedback that helps them understand their strengths and identify areas for continued growth. Participants may earn ratings, awards, or special recognition based on their performance and achievement level.
This event encourages goal setting, perseverance, and musical growth while providing students with valuable performance and assessment experience.
Conference Week
Conference Week provides dedicated time for families and teachers to connect about each student musical journey.
These meetings offer an opportunity to celebrate accomplishments, discuss progress, address challenges, and set meaningful goals for the future. Conference Week helps ensure that students, families, and teachers remain connected and working together to support long-term success.
Summer Camps & Intensives
See the Summer Camps & Intensives section above for program details and policies.
Master Class
A Master Class is a unique opportunity for students to learn in a collaborative and inspiring environment. Students may perform a piece they are currently studying and receive coaching, feedback, and encouragement in a supportive group setting.
Master Classes help students build confidence, strengthen performance skills, improve musical expression, and gain valuable insight from both instructors and fellow musicians. Students may choose to perform or attend as observers, making this an enriching experience for musicians at every stage of their journey.
Health, Safety & Emergencies
Illness Policy
For the health and well-being of our students, families, and staff, please do not attend lessons if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, including fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms that may put others at risk. When appropriate, online lessons may be available in place of an in-person lesson.
Student Supervision
Parents or guardians remain responsible for their children before and after lessons. Chambers Music Studio staff supervise students only during their scheduled lesson or class time. Please ensure students are picked up promptly at the conclusion of their lesson or program.
Special Accommodations & Medical Concerns
If your student has a medical condition, allergy, learning difference, accessibility need, behavioral concern, or other circumstance that may impact their lesson experience, please notify our Client Relations team. Sharing this information helps us coordinate appropriate support and communicate relevant information to your instructor so we can provide the best possible experience for your student.
Staff Screening & Child Safety
The safety of our students is a top priority. Chambers Music Studio conducts background checks on employees and contractors as permitted by law and provides training and policies designed to promote a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
Child Safety Reporting
Chambers Music Studio is committed to protecting the well-being of children. If a staff member observes or becomes aware of a situation that raises concerns about a child safety, welfare, or possible abuse or neglect, the studio may report those concerns to the appropriate authorities and will comply with all applicable reporting laws and professional responsibilities.
Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, including severe weather, fire, medical incidents, or other safety concerns, please follow the instructions of Chambers Music Studio staff. Our team is trained to prioritize the safety of students, families, and employees.
Inclement Weather Policy
At Chambers Music Studio, our goal is to keep students safe while maintaining consistency in their musical education.
Severe Weather & Tornado Warnings
The safety of our students, families, and staff is our highest priority. If a Tornado Warning or other significant weather emergency is issued, in-person lessons may be paused while students and families present in the building move to designated safety areas. Once it is safe to do so, remaining lessons will typically move online for the rest of the day. Families will be notified through email, text, or the student portal with instructions for accessing their lesson online.
Snow Emergencies
Level 1 Snow Emergency: Lessons will continue as scheduled at the studio. If your family feels travel is unsafe, you may request to switch to an online lesson.
Level 2 or 3 Snow Emergency: All lessons will automatically move online for the day. Lessons will take place at their regularly scheduled times and will not be rescheduled.
Accessing Online Lessons
When lessons move online, students can access their lesson through the Student Portal. If you do not have a password, click Get Login Link by Email. The Join Online Lesson button becomes available 15 minutes prior to the start of the lesson.
Because instruction continues online during weather-related closures, weather-related online lesson days are not eligible for refunds, credits, or makeup lessons. If a lesson cannot be conducted online due to a Chambers Music Studio technology issue or teacher unavailability, the lesson will be rescheduled.
We believe consistency is an important part of musical growth, so whenever possible, lessons continue online rather than being canceled due to weather.
Sanitization & Studio Environment
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio for student and family use. Instruments, learning materials, and common areas are cleaned regularly to help maintain a welcoming and healthy learning environment.
Emergency Contact Information
Please ensure that your contact information, emergency contacts, and any relevant medical information remain current in your student account. Accurate information helps us respond quickly and appropriately if an emergency occurs.
Liability
While Chambers Music Studio takes reasonable precautions to provide a safe, welcoming, and educational environment, participation in lessons, classes, camps, recitals, and studio events is at the participants own risk. Chambers Music Studio, its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for injuries, illnesses, accidents, loss of personal property, or damages that may occur while participating in studio activities, except as required by applicable law.
Communication & Studio Policies

Non-Solicitation
Our teachers, staff, curriculum, facilities, and programs are part of the unique educational experience we provide at Chambers Music Studio. To help preserve the integrity of our community and the quality of instruction we offer, clients agree not to solicit, contract with, or receive music instruction services from Chambers Music Studio teachers outside of the studio during their enrollment and for a period of one year following the conclusion of their enrollment. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain a thriving musical community for all students.
Feedback
Your feedback is important to us as we continually strive to improve our programs and services. If you have questions, concerns, suggestions, or compliments, we encourage you to contact our team at info@chambersmusicstudio.com or call/text (614) 525-0254. Media Release
Chambers Music Studio began as a small organization in a humble music teacher’s home, where the joy of teaching and the love for music inspired a growing community of students. Today, we are proud to have expanded into three vibrant and welcoming spaces where music education continues to thrive. As part of our ongoing efforts to share our story and inspire others, we sometimes capture photographs, videos, and audio recordings of our students for promotional or educational purposes. These materials allow us to showcase the incredible progress our students make and share the positive impact of music education with others. Any identifying information will be kept to a minimum. If you prefer that your child not be included in
any published media, you can easily request an exemption by completing our Media Exemption Form, available on the Resources tab of our website (chambersmusicstudio.com). We are grateful for your support as we continue to grow and create lasting memories through music!
