Columbus Voice Student Spotlight: Naomi

columbus ohio voice lessons

Naomi is a talented 15-year-old vocalist and 9th grader at Bexley High School! Naomi’s musical journey began at age 6, when she started piano lessons with Ms. Jessica. After several years of piano, she discovered her true passion—singing—and began voice lessons at age 13.

Naomi’s love for music was sparked by her sister Ruby, whose piano playing inspired her to get involved. Today, her favorite part of music is singing with friends in choir, where she enjoys the harmony, connection, and joy that comes from performing together.

One of Naomi’s favorite musical experiences is performing at school concerts, where she gets to share what she’s learned and connect with her classmates through music. She’s currently working on a big goal: expanding her vocal range and continuing to grow as a singer.

Outside of music, Naomi’s a fan of history, enjoys volleyball with friends, and loves visiting the beach whenever she gets the chance. Her go-to food? Tacos! And if she could meet any famous person, she’d love to sit down with Michelle Obama.
