Jane
Jane Heyer is a piano teacher, raised right here in Bexley! Her parents signed her up to start taking piano when she was 7 years old. What she enjoys most about music is working with others to make music together. Her favorite memories as a musician always involve the spirit of collaboration – whether it’s playing in the church band, accompanying a voice student’s recital, or making something up with her sister playing violin at their parents’ house! Jane also plays guitar, and it’s her favorite instrument to play. When asked what she enjoys most about teaching, she said, “It’s nice to see a student get excited when they understand something they’re learning or realize that it makes sense to them.” Outside of music, her favorite food is hand-pulled noodles. In her free time, she likes to watch hockey and talk about it with her dad, who’s a huge NHL fan!
