Hi, I’m Julie.
Founder, CEO of Chambers Music Studio, and Lifelong Music Lover
I’ve been teaching music for over a decade, and while I loved working one-on-one with students in my home, something was missing: community. Private lessons are powerful, but they can feel isolating—just a student and teacher in a quiet room, disconnected from something larger.
So I built what I wished existed for me. Chambers Music Studio is a place where musicians of all ages learn, grow, and connect—where lessons are rooted in excellence and joy.
My teaching philosophy is heavily influenced by Zoltán Kodály, who believed music is for everyone. He also believed that folk songs, community, and a deep understanding of quality music build stronger musicians and better humans. We carry this philosophy into everything we do.
Our studio now serves students across Bexley, Columbus, and Worthington with lessons in piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. We’ve grown into a musical home where students not only learn how to play, but also how to express themselves, connect with others, and fall in love with music for life.

What ages do you teach?
We teach all ages—from toddlers in our early childhood classes to retirees picking up an instrument for the first time. It’s never too early or too late to start.
Do I need any musical experience to take lessons?
Not at all! Many of our students are complete beginners. Our instructors meet you where you are and tailor each lesson to your goals, experience level, and learning style.
How do I know which instrument to choose?
That’s what we’re here for! We’re happy to discuss your interests (or your child’s) and help you find the instrument that best fits your personality and goals.
Do you offer performance opportunities?
Yes! We believe music should be shared. We host recitals, showcases, and community events where students can perform, build confidence, and celebrate progress.

We have three convenient locations in Bexley, Columbus, and Worthington—serving families across Central Ohio.
Do you offer virtual music lessons?
We do! If you’re outside the area or just prefer to learn from home, our virtual lessons offer the same great instruction with added convenience.
