Tuition and Billings
Thank you for supporting our small, woman-owned business and ensure our dedicated teachers have consistent hours and income to provide the best possible instruction. We appreciate your understanding and timely payment.
Monthly tuition is conveniently billed on the 1st of each month based on your chosen lesson length and frequency, with adjustments for any studio closures. To make things easier, payments are processed using the card on file. We understand that life can get busy, and sometimes payments may be delayed. To help us continue providing a high-quality experience for all our students, a $20 late fee will apply to payments more than 10 days past due. Additional fees may apply for materials or special events. Please note that tuition is non-refundable.

Lesson Length Recommendations
At Chambers Music Studio, we believe in providing our students with the time and space necessary to fully explore and develop their musical abilities. Longer lessons allow for more in-depth instruction, focused practice, and the opportunity to tackle complex concepts with greater clarity. By investing in extended sessions, students are better equipped to build a deeper connection with their instrument, improve their skills at a faster rate, and experience a more rewarding and comprehensive music education. Whether preparing for a recital, exploring advanced techniques, or simply deepening their musical understanding, longer lessons are designed to enhance the overall learning experience and support our commitment to fostering each student’s growth.

Cancellations and Makeup Lesson
To support consistent progress while also providing flexibility when schedules change, Chambers Music Studio offers makeup lessons under the following guidelines.
Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a makeup lesson token that can be scheduled at another available time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson are considered late cancellations and are not eligible for a makeup lesson. Our teachers reserve and prepare that time specifically for each student, and the lesson slot cannot typically be filled on short notice.
Substitute Teachers
If a substitute teacher is covering the lesson and the student cancels the day of, the cancellation is still considered a late cancellation and does not qualify for a makeup lesson.
Online Lessons
When necessary due to weather, illness, or other circumstances, lessons may be moved to an online format. Online lessons are considered a valid lesson format, and all Chambers Music Studio teachers are trained to teach effectively online, including working with students who have ADHD and other learning needs.
If a family chooses to cancel an online lesson, it will be considered a late cancellation.
Teacher Cancellations
If a teacher needs to cancel a lesson, a makeup lesson token will always be issued.
Makeup Lesson Tokens
Makeup lesson tokens:
• must be scheduled within 90 days of the missed lesson
• expire when a student withdraws from the studio
• may have limited availability for certain group classes
Withdrawals
At Chambers Music Studio, we believe the most meaningful musical growth happens through consistent, ongoing study. Musical skills develop week by week with steady instruction, practice, and encouragement. When lessons are paused for long periods, students often lose momentum, confidence, and connection with their progress.
For this reason, our programs are designed as continuous enrollment rather than start-and-stop participation.
If a family needs to withdraw from lessons, we require 30 days’ written notice submitted to our administrative team.
During the 30-day notice period, students may continue attending their scheduled lessons.
Annual Program Enrollment
Students enrolled in Band Leader, Conductor, or Rock Star programs participate in an annual program running August through July. Families who wish to discontinue enrollment may choose not to renew by July 1st.
(We’re sorry to see you go, but we wish you and your family the best!)
Discovery Lessons
Our discovery lessons offer more than just a first meeting—they are a chance for students and families to experience what it feels like to be part of our studio community. During this session, students are encouraged to share their musical interests, dreams, and any previous experience so we can begin tailoring their learning journey from the very start. It’s also an opportunity to get to know the teacher, ask questions, and become comfortable in the lesson environment before making a long-term commitment. We view this first step as a meaningful part of the student’s musical story. Discovery lessons are offered at Musician Plan rates.
