Worthington Guitar Teacher Spotlight:
Kendall
Kendall grew up in Hilliard, OH and started taking music lessons at the age of 11. His favorite instrument to play is the guitar, a passion that was influenced early on by The Beatles. Kendall finds joy in playing music through the experience of being inside the groove. As a teacher, he particularly enjoys witnessing the “aha” moments when students grasp new concepts. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a musician for Kendall is the satisfaction of seeing his hard work pay off, the energy from a cheering crowd, and impressing respected figures like professors. When it comes to his favorite food, he’s torn between pizza, burritos, hamburgers, and perhaps Philly cheesesteaks. In his free time, Kendall has been engrossed in playing Typeracer, his favorite pastime of late. Although he doesn’t watch many movies these days, he appreciates films by Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan.
