Art is to Live, or AITL, is a Columbus, Oh area nonprofit with a mission to help students pursuing artistic related careers through education and financial aid. Founded in 2018 by current president Olivia Minamyer (Olive); AITL has helped many students and given away just shy of $10,000. Olive, a Columbus resident and business owner (Ramo Salon @ www.ramosalon.com ) founded AITL at 23 years old with the mission to help other artists find a path of success in creative careers. AITL has been fortunate to grow in its mission and who it services. Starting from a small single scholarship to now an immersive program focused on “The Four Core Values of Success” followed by a larger scholarship. AITL feels it’s so different from other nonprofits because our focus isn’t on artistic medium – but on our skills built around artistic talent that afford us the ability to become successful. In our program, all types of creatives are welcome – from aspiring chefs, to photographers and hairstylists to architects.

Art is to Live’s mission is to help uplift its community in what we believe is an integral part of our culture and life – The Arts.

“ The Arts create culture… it creates the excitement of life. So much of our life that creates joy and happiness is impacted by the arts. From the food we eat, the buildings we tour, the content we consume, the music we listen to and beauty we service we pay for. Artists create that. In a world driven by artists I will make it my mission to help artists be recognized, educated and find their path to success.” – Olive, President and Founder of AITL

High Road Gallery & Studios is unique in that it invites visitors into our resident artist’s studio spaces. Learn about different artist processes, see works in progress, and tour the entire 200-year-old home filled with paintings, sculptures, and all kinds of works of art.

We are an artist run non-profit gallery and artist collective that serves to bring a diverse range of art and events to the Worthington community and the larger central Ohio community. We also serve as the stewards of our 200+ yr old historic residence, preserving its unique historic features for generations to come.
