Columbus Piano Student Spotlight: Keira Evans

We’re excited to celebrate Keira Evans as this month’s Student of the Month! Keira is 8 years old, in 3rd grade, and has been a wonderful addition to our music community.

Keira began taking piano lessons about a year ago after attending a piano camp with a friend. That experience sparked her interest in music, and she’s been enjoying her musical journey ever since.

The piano is Keira’s favorite instrument, and she says one of the things she loves most about playing is hearing the music she’s able to create. She was also inspired by the music of Twenty One Pilots, and if she could meet any musician, she would choose the band’s lead singer, Tyler Joseph.

One of Keira’s favorite musical memories is performing in the music concert, and she has already set an exciting goal for herself: to complete every level in the program! We love her determination and can’t wait to watch her continue progressing.

Outside of music, Keira enjoys math, loves pancakes, and her favorite place to visit is Slick City. When she’s not practicing piano, you’ll likely find her playing Sleeping Queens with family and friends.

We’re so proud of Keira’s enthusiasm, dedication, and excitement for learning. Her teachers nominated her for this recognition because of her hard work and positive attitude, and we’re thrilled to celebrate all she has accomplished.

What instruments do you offer?

We offer a variety of different instruments! You can check which instrument specifically via our lessons page.

How are students placed with a teacher?

Students are placed with a teacher via the Placement form. You will fill out a series of questions pretaining to personality and learning styles, and we use that information to match you with a teacher that bests fit you or your child’s needs and ambitions.

Do you offer beginner lessons?

Yes! At Chambers, we work with all skill levels, everything from beginner to expert.

Do you offer lessons for kids and adults?

Yes! We welcome all students regardless of age or skill level. We offer private lessons, but we also have age specific courses designed for early childhood development, we also have ensemble and group classes that are designed for children and adolescents.
